The SWA team had a great trip to Savonnerie Heymans as part of a research trip to Brussels. The project is located on the site of a former soap factory, and the historic elements form a framework for modern communal housing that includes adaptable winter gardens. There is a creche, a communal meeting space and laundry too. The site incorporates a comprehensive landscape scheme.
