We were excited to have had the opportunity to host Boligbygg Oslo and the Architecture Foundation earlier this month to share ideas on how we can design homes and neighbourhoods to facilitate mobility and well-being for current and future generations of older people. We explored SWA’s retrofit work for R20 and DWELL – a collaboration with The University of Sheffield University. The images shown depict the participatory approach to design and research we used as a key part of the DWELL project. Now more than ever it is clear the importance of actively listening to different needs and the impact our built environment can have in supporting communities.
