Sustainable Engagement

How can our projects do more?

Over the last 25 years, we have built good sustainable credentials into our projects. But as the climate crisis advances, we keep looking for ways to do more. One of the barriers to meeting our own green agenda is the gap we observe between a project’s good intentions, and it’s final outcomes.

In this journal article we explore new ideas for aligning a project’s agenda with it’s constraints. We want to bring sustainable ideas and processes into every level of a project so we need a better understanding of the invisible hurdles and hidden motives for building sustainably.
