Black History Month: Showcasing BAME in Construction

SWA are presenting Sandal Magna Primary School for Paradigm Network’s Black History Month Event.

Paradigm are a professional network championing BAME representation within the built environment. This year, the Paradigm Network is hosting a Digital Exhibition throughout October, culminating in an evening of Networking & Pechu-Kucha presentations on Friday 25th October from 6:30pm onwards.

Sandal Magna School features in the month-long digital exhibition and Clare Bond will present the award-winning project during the Pecha-Kucha evening.

This project provides an exemplar school for a BAME constituency in a particularly diverse part of the UK. It offers a high-quality learning environment that responds to the local context and the needs of the local community.

The ambition of the exhibition is to increase visibility of people from a BAME background, representing clients, project leads, users and charitable organisations.
